Developing best practice approaches for restoring Murray-Darling ecosystems that are resilient to climate change
Background
This project aims to develop best-practice advice and adaptive management options for tree species provenance selection for restoring Murray-Darling Basin associated terrestrial ecosystems, to maximise long-term biodiversity outcomes.
Voluntary assistance will be planting trees trees along rip lines, including tagging and measuring the height of each tree.
Dates and Locations
Location: Monarto Woodland
Dates: 1 or 2 days between 21-28th May
What we provide: All expenses will be covered including food, drinks and travel.
What volunteers require: No experience is required. Sun/rain protection; covered shoes; gardening gloves (optional); gardening equipment (optional).
